FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much and how long are the tours?
The Tour is $210. This includes up to 3 people, and $70 for each additional person. For 6 or more, custom pricing applies.

What time do the tours start?
Morning tours are from 10:30AM-1:30PM, afternoon tours are from 2:30PM –5:30PM, Monday to Saturday Sunday, morning tours are from 12PM –3PM, afternoon tours are from 4PM-7PM.

How do the tours work?
After you book the tour, we send a confirmation email with our contact information and a place to meet, usually by a subway station or convenient street location. Every tour is slightly different and we will attach a short questionnaire so that we can tailor the tour to your personal preferences. All tours are on foot.

How do I pay?
You can pay by check or credit card through Paypal. A $50 deposit is required upon booking; instructions on how to pay the balance will be detailed in a follow-up email.

What about cancellations?
You will receive a full refund if you cancel 7 days or more before the tour date. Otherwise the $50 deposit is forfeited but may be used for a future tour or transferred to another person.

What if it’s raining, snowing, or extreme weather conditions?
As they say in the tour business, the tour must go on. Sorry, there are no cancellations in the event of rain, but we will do our best to plan as many indoor activities as we can. If there are extreme conditions such as a blizzard or torrential rains, we will call & email you the day before or the day of the tour to cancel or re-schedule.

Do you accept tips?
Our price is inclusive but feel free to tip if you think our service was exceptional. Past clients have tipped between 15 & 25% of the price of the tour.

What if we are more than 6 people?
We can extend our tours to larger groups, so please let us know how many there will be and we can customize a tour for your size group.If you need more information or have questions, please email us at laurencewaltman@mac.com
